Green Basket Initiative
Our new Green Basket Initiative focuses on home energy efficiency, with economic lighting solutions and energy-to-cost saving strategies. We created the Green Basket Initiative for the purpose of developing and promoting properties that save money and energy, and progress toward environmental sustainability. In partnership with the builder, this initiative includes a home energy efficiency Green Basket, optional Home Efficiency Check-up, and consultation in the form of a Semimonthly Seminar.
The Green Basket contains household items that allow for substantial yearly cost savings, with a corresponding educational and consultative Semimonthly Seminar for the homeowner. The Home Efficiency Check-up maps out current energy use and corresponding operating costs, detailing tactics the homeowner can adopt for improvement.
